Evergreen is located on the North end of the foothills south of I-70 and extends south toward Conifer. Horse properties vary greatly in Evergreen from small properties under an acre to properties 5-7 acres to exclusive areas with large tracts of land. North Evergreen, which is the area north of the actual downtown area of Evergreen, is known for its ease of access to the Downtown Denver area for commuting and amenities, plus DIA and of course world class skiing to the west. Some properties can be found adjacent to parks for trail riding, but where ever you are located in Evergreen; trail riding is a short trailer trip away.

Some neighborhoods offer trails incorporated into the neighborhood layout like Soda Creek, while others offer quite roads to ride on. In general, South Evergreen offers a greater selection and range of horse properties in a variety of neighborhoods like Hangen Ranch and Bear Mountain. The price range of horse properties start in the mid $300,000’s and can reach into the millions depending on the quality of land, location and the size of home. Certain neighborhoods are populated with horses kept at the majority of the properties, while others have horse occupied properties interspersed throughout. Public boarding facilities are limited in the Evergreen area.
